Caper Group was engaged by NDIS Support Coordinators, HKinOZ and Sbegasaurus, to improve housing for NDIS participants with thermoregulatory dysfunction. The project faced several challenges, including managing diverse stakeholders such as government agencies and community groups, adhering to tight deadlines to minimise disruption for participants and meeting strict sustainability and environmental standards set by local councils.
Our Approach
Caper Group implemented an integrated project management framework that ensured seamless communication and collaboration among all stakeholders. Regular updates and meetings maintained alignment with project goals. Advanced construction techniques and materials expedited the building process while upholding quality and safety standards. Additionally, sustainable practices, such as using recycled materials and energy-efficient designs, were incorporated to meet environmental targets and promote healthy, accessible living spaces.

The project was completed ahead of schedule, reducing disruptions for clients and their families. The new and renovated spaces significantly enhanced accessibility, functionality and enjoyment for participants, their support systems and therapists.
